Opened in the fall of 1973 by "Uncle Dick", the Country Cousin Restaurant has become known as "the" place to stop and "set a spell". In 1991 Uncle Dick brought Uncle Sonny on board as a partner and between the two "Uncles" we have over 80 "cousins" to keep our visitors happy. We're located right between Seattle and Portland and over the years have become a favorite meeting place for families and friends alike.

We are much more than just another restaurant. We are truly an experience! It will remind you of a trip to grammas' house! When you pull into our parking lot you'll be greeted by "Ma", she's out there tending her garden, rain or shine, while "Pa" stands ready to say "howdy" out by the chicken coop with the 19__ tractor he works hard at keepin' together. Pa is mighty proud of his equipment and says to remind you to take a look at his 1907 Brush automobile which we have inside.

We're a friendly bunch and even have a "picture board" where you can all pose together to remember what a great time you had "down on the farm" with us cousins. Take a look at our chickens and enjoy your "farm" experience.

You'll know you're "home" when you open the door and you're greeted by the crowing of a rooster. It lets us know that we've got company! Now don't be fooled by the stoic expression of our wooden sentinel at the door, You'll be greeted with a smile and escorted to a freshly scrubbed table selected just for you. As you gaze about your surroundings you'll be filled with wonder and delight as you recognize tools and implements from a bygone day. Take note of the old red gas pump and enjoy our "famous" Penny Farthing "High Wheel" which holds court in the middle of the restaurant. See if you can name the prize winning canned goods which adorn a special shelf of their own and entertain yourself with our unique decorative tabletops.

Now it's time to enjoy this trip to Grammas house so sit back and prepare to be pampered as you are invited to partake in a refreshing cup of hot delicious coffee, home brewed iced tea or a uniquely satisfying beverage from our full service bar. Peruse the menu and make your choice, our good old fashioned "comfort food" is sure to satisfy! Whether you're here for breakfast, lunch or dinner you won't leave hungry! We have fluffy homemade hotcakes and "stick to your ribs" biscuits and gravy , our famous pot-roast and delicious fried chicken will remind you of Sunday dinner, but you can have it anytime at the cousins! Make Gramma right proud by enjoying some of our delightful homemade bread pudding, mouthwatering fruit crunch or our own blackberry sourcream pie! You'll get cheerful efficient service from all of the cousins, 'cuz we're glad you're here!
